Fun to know:	The dessert rose looks like a rose made of sand, and is made off gypsumcrystals. The water from the ground evaporates leaving sand and salt wich together form crystals. Large dessert roses are rare. The rose used to be very loved by the Egyptians. A lot off them were found in the tomb of Tutankhamen.
Hardness:	Very soft! You can scratch it with your nails. 2 on Mohs's scale.
