Amethyst

The amethyst found the Isle of Libra in the magical world of Miyu is often a beautiful deep, dark, purple with white surfaces and stripes. If you look closely you will see a very fine structure.
There are a lot of amethysts with a lighter colour purple, but these are a little rare on the isles of Miyu.
Beware! Amethysts can bleach when exposed to the sun.

Amethyst is also called Purple Pearl Stone on the Island Libra. The purple pearl  is by far the most precious deep sea pearl found at Libra. Pearl forgers often use this stone to carve fake pearls. Still, The stone will almost always help you win when playing with marbles.

In ancient Egypt, Greece and the Roman Empire amethyst was used for rings and signetrings.
The stone is named after the Greek word "amethuein" which means sober, not drunk. People believed that the stone could protect you from getting drunk. Rich people often drank wine out of a special goblet made of amethyst. In the Middle-Ages they used these same goblets to check if the drink someone offered you,
was not poisoned. That is because amethyst changes colour when exposed to certain toxics. They also believed that the stone would make you intelligent and keep you decent. You can use the stone for meditation.
