Fluorite

The fluorite in the Miyu collection is rough and slightly translucent. Sometimes it
looks like you see a rainbow. But more often you will see one colour (sometimes two)
that is almost fluorescent (that means that it looks like the stone appears to shine a light).
The colours you see are purple, green, pinkish and yellow.
If you look at fluorite under an ultraviolet lamp, all of a sudden you will see totally
different colours.

Elf Stone (Fluorite). Without a friendly ghost to chase away ghost-owls and mice no house is complete. An elf-stone helps you to attract the better kind of house spirits. Put up six stones in front of an open window to attract  a house ghost. As soon as he is in take them down. More than one house ghost in the same house is a recipe for trouble.  

Fluorite grows in beautiful trapezium- and pyramid shapes.
It is named after the Latin word for flowing, which is "fluere". You can melt this stone faster
than you can the other stones.
The Romans already made gorgeous vases out of fluorite.
Now a days it is widely used in the industry. For example in rocket technology, but also
in cooling fluids.
