Getting an education is one of the most important things a child needs to have a good life.
Without education, children don’t know how be healthy and safe and they won’t have the knowledge needed to get good jobs when they grow up. By helping kids all over the world get a good education, UNICEF gives them the chance to have a bright future.

Through a programme called Schools for Africa, UNICEF helps children in six African countries get the best education possible. Things like desks and chairs, a safe classroom, trained teachers, school supplies and separate washrooms for boys and girls are all important parts of learning. Schools for Africa provides these things to children who might otherwise not have the chance to learn.
